Eakin contract is a good deal for Stars. Hopefully, Dillon negotiations will come to a conclusion in next few days as he is needed for the opening night roster.

Spezza and Nichushkin looked very good last night.

Also, Ruff loaded up the PP with Seguin, Benn, Spezza, Hemsky and Daley as the lone defenseman. Don't know if he will keep them as a group but it looked awesome and allowed Seguin more freedom to move around.

Glennie has cleared waivers and will play in Cedar Park to start the year. I could see him getting an injury call up during the year as a bottom 6 player. He has developed into a decent 2-way forward.
